Only twelve international cricketers have taken five-wicket hauls in all three formats of the game — an elite list that includes Sri Lankan greats Lasith Malinga and Ajantha Mendis, West Indies’ Jason Holder and Alzarri Joseph, South Africa’s Lungi Ngidi and Imran Tahir, India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, Pakistan’s Umar Gul, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan and New Zealand’s Tim Southee.
Zimbabwe now has five players who stand an excellent chance of joining this rare club. Sikandar Raza already has five-fors in Tests and T20Is, while Graeme Cremer, Brad Evans, Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani have each achieved five-fors in both Tests and ODIs.
Which of them, in your view, is most likely to become Zimbabwe’s first cricketer with five-wicket hauls across all formats?
