Shingi Masakadza was once signed with Dynamos FC, where he made appearances in several cup games for the prestigious Zimbabwean football club. However, a cricket career seemed destined for him, especially with his brother Hamilton being a legendary figure in Zimbabwean cricket.

After 17 years of playing professional cricket, Shingi Masakadza recently retired. I spoke with the 38-year-old, and he expressed that he has “no regrets” about his decision to switch from football to cricket.
